Coke vs Pepsi: 1 Similarities and Differences

Do you wanna Coke?

*hands Pepsi*

I have never heard, "Do you wanna Pepsi?" The brown bubbly drink (that I don't like) has come to be called a Coke even when it's a Pepsi.

In Japanese supermarkets they sell Pepsi a lot so for some time I had thought, "Coke is an American brand and Pepsi is just the Japanese version of that brand." Which, I know of course it's not :P

But we all know about the Coke vs Pepsi wars between the companies and the customers (you guys!). This will be an article series where I will talk about:

Let's admit it. We Love Disasters.

We Love Disasters.

How could I say, er write, such a thing? It's utterly horrible, terrible, and absolutely inhuman! There is absolutely no way it's true. But think again. Think about it before you click the arrow to get out of this blog. I bet you one-hundred-ish percent that you can relate to this. You can because,

10 No-nos in Japan

I'm half-Japanese and I've lived in Japan basically my whole life so I think I'm qualified to tell you some no-nos in Japan. These aren't in any particular order.

1. Trying your Japanese on a Japanese person and they might try their English on you.

Japanese want to please. They want to please you English-speaking foreigners. They might try to speak to you in English even if you insist that you want to speak Japanese. Just suck it up, is all I can say.

2. Can't get

What is good or bad, right or wrong?

Questions about morals? But certainly there are things that are right or wrong, good or bad that we can all agree on no matter our beliefs, personal feelings, and other things that can influence us.

Let's talk about all the bad/wrong stuff first just to get it out of the way.

I bet we can all agree that

Theory: Thumbelina and the Important Kisses (She was born a fairy)

In this post, I'm taking issue with Thumbelina FILM VERSION, the story of a girl the size of a thumb, born out of a flower in the house of an elderly woman who always wanted a child.

Most of you might know the film version where one day this little Thumbelina meets the Fairy Prince and falls in love and then after many adventures and near-death experiences, she gets married to the Fairy Prince Cornelius and kisses him for the first time and then gets her fairy wings.

I believe that Thumbelina was born a fairy and not just some random tiny person. If the magical seed was planted in the right place and Thumbelina was born in the right family, she would've had her wings earlier on.

And the main ingredient for this is a kiss out of love.

First, how is she born?

Theory: Anna and Elsa really ARE sisters. Some people say "no".

I have heard theories that Anna and Elsa are not sisters because of their hair color and that Elsa is actually the fraternal twin of Rapunzel????

Watching all of this will take over 14 minutes if the link doesn't work so try HERE. Focus on the part where he says "blond hair".

Elsa does not have blond hair.

And let me point out one little thing you theory people may have missed.

I'm a Child of U.S-Japan Reconciliation

Well, obviously the title is click-bait...or is it? If you already know me, N.J., I'm half Japanese and half American. When you think about it, it's not unusual but it is kinda interesting considering during World War II, Japan and the US were enemies.

It's a touchy subject, the War Era, but these days when you talk about controversial things people say "GIMME MORE!" so, here it is:

The mindset (some) teachers in Japan said the US military had when they dropped the bomb on Hiroshima.

Hiroshima is up in Debateland, guys. The recent news of President Obama visiting Hiroshima and stuff...you know, that stuff.

Have you wondered how Japan reasons the bombing? Let me tell you about one incident I had with this topic in elementary school...

Rainy Day Grays: Why you should actually be happy

Where I live, today, right at this moment, it is raining.

Yep, it's one of those days alligators, those rainy smainy days where you just wanna stay in bed and sleep or curl up with a good book and drink some nice hot tea or just not do anything particularly productive or watch movies all day or binge watch High School Musical (I've been reminiscing recently and thought, huh, gotta watch those again even though they are cheesy to the point of cringe-worthy).

But that's not what I'm talkin' about here. Guys, have you ever heard, "Rainy day blues"? It's that sad gloomy feeling you get on rainy days. But we have this all wrong. Here's what I think.

LOL Drama in "Beauty and the Beast" Rant

The way he has to turn around. LOL

I just had to talk about this, I mean, you don't have to turn around THAT dramatically. And I think it'll make me dizzy if I did that. Try it. I tried it. It dangerously almost gave me a kink in my neck.

His voice is higher, he has no facial hair...we can assume he's probably not wearing any underwear because when he was a Beast, he obviously didn't need any.

Also, it doesn't seem to bother her that she doesn't know his name and that she can't call him Beast any more.

And,

Are you a fan of *insert artist name here*?

Are you a fan of Owl City? (for example)

No, I'm not a fan.
Translation: I'm not a fanatic.

It is said that the word "fan" is derived from "fanatic".

But saying I'm not a fan seems to put people off. They look at me like "WHAT ARE YOU??? Some kind of alien???? What do you mean you're not a fan???"

But, I tell them,

22 "Beauty and the Beast" Questions: What do you think?

Here are some questions about Beauty and the Beast. Some of them I had for a long time, some of them recently since I started practicing singing Disney songs and paid more attention to the lyrics.

1. Where is Belle's mother?

2. In the opening song, Belle sings "Little town, it's a quiet village, everyday like the one before. Little town with the little people waking up to say..." Sometimes when we say "little" we mean it in a "oh how cute" kind of way. But other times we mean it in a "oh, how little! itty bitty hahaha!" kind of condescending way. Which is it?

3. If Belle really grew up in that little town, why does everyone look at her like she is weird? Surely they would've gotten used to her by now. Why is Gaston thinking he would marry her? He knows she's weird and she is sort of an outcast so why should he care? And why now? Why not before? If she truly grew up there, why didn't he make a move on her before?

4. Could it be that Belle is actually from a different town? Because everyone STILL thinks she is weird after ALL THESE YEARS.

5. "Every morning just the same. This is the morning that we came, to this poor provincial town..." This sentence in the opening song, doesn't this show that she is actually from elsewhere???

6. Also she says "There must be more than this provincial life!" This can mean two things: She wants different because she reads books unlike other girls. OR She came from elsewhere so she knows there is more and wants it. She even says it again after Gaston makes a move on her. She's singing again and she says "I want much more than this provincial life!" On top of that, she wants to meet someone out in the wide open somewhere who understands her desire for more.

7. If Belle's father is so excited about the fair,

Idea: Create a Website where Artists can Collaborate

Do you ever have times where your mind just won't shut up?
It's not a bad thing, of course not! But sometimes, don't you wish you could do something more about it?

Because I write A LOT and watch a lot of YouTube or documentaries or movies or listen to music and watch music videos...sometimes I get ideas that I think would be perfect for either an animation or a short film.

But I'm not a film guru or someone who has gone to film school. I tried editing a video I made with Galligator on YouTube because she's not good with all that stuff and it was soooo tedious! Cutting the video in the right places...anyway, what I'm trying to say is,

there should be a place, a large community online, a website of sorts accessible to many people in the world, where artists can all gather easily and share their skills and collaborate easily online.

I have lots of ideas for a short film or animation but I have no film skills and I feel script writing is so tedious and not for me. But I can write short stories or little bits of ideas in story form. Perhaps someone with animation skills and script writing skills can understand while I'm coming from and we can work together.

SKYPE. Now that's a great way to collaborate. There should be a SKYPE for Artists so that artists can feel safe collaborating with people they may never get to meet in person.

Not just someone like me, but someone like...say, maybe you are interested in making an animation but the thought is daunting. Through collaboration with more professional artists, you can find someone to collaborate with with ease and they can teach you.

And there should of course be rules. We don't want any scammers or people who try to get you to buy stuff. There should be a trial period. You work with that person for about a few weeks just to see if you can make it work. If you find out early on, cancel it. If it seems to work, keep at it.

The service itself should be free. I don't want to have to pay for it. Then I'll just say "Forget it, I'll just let my ideas go to waste."

What do you think? I think this could work.

Oh, there should be a screening process. The people who own the website can screen out and potential scammers or promoters selling products. And of course, nothing R-rated. And the website will live off of donors and sponsors.

I think it can work. I think so.

YouTube isn't enough, guys. That's for people who already know HOW to make videos or ones good enough.

Yes, there should be a place where artists from all over the world can collaborate with ease.

See ya later, alligators! :D

Pokemon Name Change: WHY??

Pokemon originated in Japan. I have lived in Japan all my life, I know my Pokemon, guys.

All the original 250 Pokemon have their own names...in Japanese.

I always find it very strange that the US spent so much time to rename all the Pokemon so that Americans could say them.

They didn't do that with Disney characters in Japan. I mean, Cinderella is Cinderella and Snow White is Snow White. You could say "I like Elsa" and they'll know what you're talking about. You could say "I like Donald Duck" and they'll know what you're talking about.

Just Pokemon was changed. All the names. 250 but now it's what, 500? 750? I lost track.

Why did they bother? Were some of the names offensive?

Let me see,

Are ghosts real? (maybe) Real Ghost Pics Inside!

Exactly 5 years ago I wrote about ghosts in my first ever article for this blog.

Here it is, if you'd like to read it, it's kinda short.

I wanted to sort of...rewrite that article just because it was the first one and I was...you know...a newbie blogger and a lot of the article doesn't make sense.

Apparently ghost sightings are pretty normal and even popular.

Sometimes the footage is good but sometimes you can't tell wha da heck you're supposed to be looking at.

Ghost smashes bottles apparently in this one.

I watched this thing twice but it's so blurry it could've been anything, really. Like a malfunction *raises eyebrow on one side and gives the "you're kidding me, right?" look*

I don't see glasses flying around. Or wine bottles breaking.

When you read the article, the only person that makes actual comments is the licensee Bradbury.

I'm suspicious of you, Bradbury. You sure you didn't make this all up?

He says "we saw bottles flying" but who is this "we"? Bradbury, Bradbury, and Bradbury?

And then the thing about locals...well, of course there are going to be some people who actually see ghosts breaking bottles in this super blurry video footage that isn't creepy AT ALL!

And a ghostly figure dancing in front of cameras? If a person moves fast, he can look blurry. If he is wearing all white, he can look ghostly. If it was Bradbury, he'll know exactly what to do.

And this was also still back in 2014. You can edit videos nicely so that they look creepy and look like "ghost footage".

When you go to Google Search and type "paranormal sightings" there are

Imaginary Friends: Twin Brothers and My Double

SPOILER ALERT!
If you've seen Inside Out, the Pixar film, you might remember Bing Bong. He was Riley's imaginary friend and he was still hidden inside her head even as she grew up.

I think most of us have imaginary friends. I was thinking it might be a culturally American thing because idk if any of my Japanese or Chinese friends had imaginary friends or even know what an imaginary friend is.

Most of my culture is Japanese, yet the other half is American. Did I have an imaginary friend? And if I did, where is it today?

You didn't know this because I didn't tell you but me and my parents, we have been working to get published in an academic journal with me as second author.

Found out today we have been rejected and can't resubmit to the journal

One: It is bad that we have been rejected and can't resubmit to the journal.

Two: My name won't be on a published piece. My real name, that is.

Three: Very nice critiques with kind suggestions and reasons stated for the rejection.

The second point means something to me, guys.

I have long decided that the first ever published piece with my name (my pen name) will be on my novel Liaffon. THIS MEANS THAT,

Photographs: Do they talk to us? What are photographs and why do we take them?

"Carpe... Carpe... Carpe diem... Seize the day, boys. Make your lives... extraordinary..."
"Dead Poets Society" a classic movie with an iconic actor

The photos speak to them. Well, not really obviously but when you look into the eyes of the past, you might feel like the photos are speaking to you.

But why do we feel like that? And what is it about capturing the past or a certain time in the present? To preserve memories? I mean today, today is the Selfie Age. People take selfies ALL THE FRICKIN TIME. And not just to capture that memorable moment but to just take a picture. What is that need? Why? What how who when where why???

Social Media is EXHAUSTING sometimes

If you're like me and you have just recently invested yourself into Social Media Land then you might find at first you kinda might enjoy this.

Blogger
linked to Google Plus
Twitter 2 accounts
Facebook (well, not so much updates but more like contacting friends)
YouTube (Galligator isn't doing all that on her own, you know. N. J. is keeping it grounded so it doesn't get out of hand)
Figment: Write Yourself In (community writing site)

I suppose I didn't understand really what it was like to invest in Social Media. I mean, I see Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, Jenna Marbles, Jacksfilms, Superwoman, GMM, Pewdiepie, Tyler Oakley, and many many many other YouTubers just seemingly keeping up with everything AND going about their daily lives.

Somehow they manage it. And what we see is just a sliver of a part of their life. Just 10 minutes, or 20 minutes. We don't see the tremendous effort that goes into this. Well, sometimes we do but not EVERY day.

So I arrive at Social Media Station a COMPLETE newbie to everything and it all seems like happy land and fun and happy and fun until...

Yes, to eat or not to eat, that is the question (Shakespeare reference).

I like meat. Fried chicken, hamburgers, turkey during Thanksgiving...mmm, yummy *licks lips*

And I don't plan on stopping from eating meat.

One of my aunts is a vegetarian. Her husband and son are not. I have wondered about this. I mean, how can it be okay for a vegetarian to live with meat-eaters...idk. Maybe I'll ask her someday.

Anyway, I have sometimes, when I eat meat,

Rebellious Me: Shy people, be yourselves!

Radio Rebel is the best movie ever.

The reason I like it is because it's about that shy girl who has a crush on a guy who isn't completely in her league. I've never been to high school in the States but for some reason it gives me that warm cozy feeling inside. I've always always always been that shy girl. That girl who couldn't speak up for herself. School surely wasn't like Tara's but it did have some elements...like having a crush on a guy who didn't really knew you existed or had a voice.

Radio Rebel should be played more today. I mean, there should be re-runs of re-runs. Differences should be celebrated. Just because you're this or that, doesn't mean you are not good as a person.

Watching Radio Rebel makes me want to know what it's like to go to school in the states. You've got the cafeterias and the personalized lockers and the classrooms where you move depending on the class. In Japan we only have cafeterias in college and university. We had lockers but we never personalized them. And, we never moved classrooms. We always stayed in the same classroom and the teachers would come to us. So, we were stuck with the same group of people for a whole year. So if you had a crush on someone from high school year one, chances were you wouldn't see them hardly at all the next year cuz they mixed us up.

Anyway, the point of this post is about celebrating differences and Radio Rebel. I, personally, like to celebrate differences. I'm not afraid of telling people the real me. I used to be.

I used to

Humans are better than Animals. Da heck?!

Some of you would surely say, YES Humans are better than Animals because we have humongous brains and we have complex societies and cultures and we have weapons and other technology...that we are killing each other with.

Oh hey. Yeah sure. But our brains are the only things that separate us from the animals. Those societies and cultures and weapons are just the results of big brains thinking too much. So, we are better because we have big complex brains.

Doesn't that sound a bit absurd? I would think

Oh god. No. Yes. Maybe.

Oh god.

Well, I just wanted to say,

First: We are all entitled to our opinions.

Second: I have read the bible from start to finish from alpha to omega, I have gone to church, I have been baptized, I have had my First Communion, I have sung church songs, and all that.

But I am a skeptic and a realist and sometimes, well, what people gleen from the bible just doesn't seem to add up for me in real life.

Like things that go wrong in life.

Let's say you applied for a job and you really wanted it. But then you weren't accepted.

Some people who believe in the nitty gritties of the bible will say,

"Well, if god wanted you to have it, you would've. But hey, you weren't accepted because he had other BETTER plans for you."

Now here is Me the Skeptical Realist thinking, "But that's just life. And what do you mean he has other BETTER plans for me? What if I never get to those plans? What if I never get to figure them out? What if a big earthquake rattles everything and god never gets to give me those BETTER plans."

I mean, let's be real here (#letsbereal). If you didn't get accepted, it's because either you weren't ready or there was something missing.

Do you think
those "awful" talents on Got Talent Anywhere in the World, get buzzed off because god had BETTER plans for them? What about if they keep going back with the same "awful" talent? I don't know why I put "awful" in quotes and not "talent" in quotes (which I just did) because...anyway.

I just want to talk to you and NEW VID!

Sometimes I just want to talk to you. Sometimes my posts don't start out with a topic. Honestly they don't sometimes. I see people doing YouTube and I want to do YouTube but I don't want people to see my face because

1. My parents are beginning to tap into the YouTube world and I don't want them finding out it's me in there.

2. I don't like looking at my own face so much and I get really cringy when I watch myself talk and do things. But if it's just my voice, I got no problems with that.

Because of these reasons, I blog instead.

Relationships: I can only stretch so far

I just watched a really really really REALLY great movie that you guys should DEFINITELY WATCH if you haven't.

Thanks Wikipedia for the pic.
It's called "The Intern". Great stuff.

This movie is about relationships. All kinds of relationships. Husband and wife, friends, coworkers, boss and coworker, old and old, old and young, young and young, man and woman, mother and daughter, mother and father, child and adult, any kind of relationship ever.

It got me thinking and it's almost one in the morning but I gotta get this down. So it got me thinking about my own relationships.

Why do we find certain things cute? Why do we go AWWWWWWWW!!! when we see

this

or

this?

Why?

Well, probably because they look innocent.

We can find human babies cute, too. Well, some of us. The rest of us see them as manipulative little devils who are actually the ones ruling the world. Anyway, I'm not the latter. I swear *emphasizes words*.

The common point is that they are all innocent. They LOOK innocent and vulnerable and THAT's what we find cute.

But then, some girls and guys see a pair of shoes and go,

THESE ARE SO CUTE! I gotta get these!

shoes aren't CUTE like, they aren't innocent.

They aren't even ALIVE so how can they be INNOCENT?

Here's what I thought. Perhaps

Runner-Up X Factor UK 2015 is Reggae...???

This is their "Song of the Series" meaning that it is the song they have already sung, which they thought was the utmost best and they sing it again later, when they have "matured" in their singing and their performances.

So, Reggie 'n' Bollie are two guys from Ghana who came as Runner-up in X Factor UK 2015 with the Winner as Louisa Johnson (simply amazing girl, omg, you would be literally BLOWN AWAY). Maybe I just don't understand Reggae, but I have absolutely NO IDEA why they are the Runner-up. Like, what's so good about them? I do think they are nice guys, they bring fun to the stage, and they can have good vocals...but really, Runner-up?

This is one of my shorter posts. I just...I just really don't understand. It's just...is Reggae always like this? I felt sometimes they were even off-key...or maybe that's just Reggae???

I respect that many people did vote for them and probably that means they generally are really really amazing.

I just don't get it. And I tried Google Search to see if anyone else didn't get it. So far I haven't found anyone...well, maybe now I will.

Is this Reggae? Are these guys truly worth it for Runner-up? Is their Reggae super awesome omg you can't even?

Someone tell me please! :0

10? 5? I CAN'T STAND IT!

You know what I can't stand? I can't stand how people LOVE

Uptown Funk gives ya that Sax

Uptown Funk you up, Uptown Funk you up, say Uptown Funk you up, Uptown Funk you up...

Oh, hi :D

I was just trying to get it out of my head again. Uptown Funk, gosh, such a rhythmic song that went extremely viral and I think it still might get into your mind today. That narcissistic character, Uptown Funk, will give you everything because he think he's so good and he likes to be the center of attention. Oh, but he IS the center of attention, go and see for yourself! He's on stage on Saturday nights. The big star! The one that girls love!

Well, that's how I took it.

We'll get back to Uptown Funk.

Do you guys know Fleur East? (cool name, btw.)

Creative things people would do if life gave them lemons...on Whisper

Whisper App. You can't find me :) The "When life gives you lemons..." Whisper is quite cliche and popular. Here are some things people would do if life gave them lemons. The parentheses are my comments and/or thoughts.

Make lemonade (cliche much.)

Squeeze them in people's eyes :)  (The smiley face was not included by me.)

Chuck them at people you hate (oh the negativity.)

Freeze them and throw them at the haters (geesh people!)

Either make lemonade,

Answering Random Prompts again :P

So apparently it was enjoyable. Here it is again :) But don't worry, the third one will be a while. I will make you crave for it *snickers evilishly* *realizes "evilishly" is probably not a word but doesn't care at the moment but might care the next moment* a moment later *still doesn't care*

See topic generator site here.

1. Write about how you drive (or why you don't)

This is a strange question. It should be "write about how you drive, or how you don't". Otherwise I would have to answer why I don't know how I drive, which makes zero sense. I don't know how I drive because I don't drive. Trains in Tokyo get's ya anywherez ya wantz to goez.

2. Write about a neighbour.

My neighbour is a dog. A bowy wowy dog. A dog that wants attention and isn't getting enough. A little yappy barky dog that howls sometimes. A sad droopy dog that cries and howls and sounds so oh so much very much sad and oh so very depressed.

No, I'm not living in a dog pound.

3. Write about an ornament.

Now that is what I call random. Write about an ornament, you say? Wha da heck! do you mean? What ornament? Any ol' ornamental ornament? What is your definition of ornament? Christmas ornament? I've not much to say about that.

What other ornament is there besides a Christmas one? What other ornament is there besides...! *army flailing dramatically to be dramatic and sarcastic and all that good stuff*

Geesh :/

4. Write about the oldest person you know.

Answering to Random Question Prompt Stuffs

This site lol

I rarely use "lol" becuase usually by the time you guyz see it, it's not very funny anymore. Or, maybe it is?

I'm just gonna randomly generate ten, okay? Then we'll see how enjoyable it is.

1. If you came into a large amount of money, what would you do with it?

Well, first off,

Okay, let me just say...NO MUSIC!!

So A LOT OF TIMES I have seen people ask questions or write about it.

Yes.

Do you listen to music while you write?

or just

What kind of music do you listen to while you write?

Oh my gawd.

Just please, just please stop with that! Not everyone will automatically be a music-listening writer or a writer listening to music when they write.

I don't listen to music when I write. I listen to

Response to Sudden Sickness can Determine Fight or Flight in a More Dire Situation?

Unexpected sickness can determine whether we will choose Fight or Flight when facing a real enemy??????

So today in Japan, and I really mean today like this very day like May 23rd 2016, it was 30 degrees Celsius or 86 Fahrenheit. I converted it for you because I know we are all lazy bums who can't look up those easy things by ourselves.

And I saved you time from asking Siri because I know Siri can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

Anyway, it was so hot but I didn't think it was that hot and I didn't think I would EVER EVER NEVER get heatstroke.

Mixed up all those nursery rhymes and Mad stuff

So, I wrote this poem that doesn't make sense and I want to share it with you guys.

Riddle Me Mad

Riddle me riddle
A cat plays a fiddle
A boy Jack falls and breaks his crown
The little dog grins and makes a mocking frown
As Jill goes tumbling after

Riddle me riddle
The fork and spoon start to giggle
As the cow jumps over the moon
Mary quite contrary grows her flowers in June
The same month Humpty Dumpty makes a fall

Riddle me riddle
Two goats, a lamp, and Mr. Diddle
Hide behind the mulberry bush
As kookaburra whispers "hush"
"Quiet my child, the mad things are here
The tea cups and wolf are already near."

Riddle me riddle
The dish plays a fiddle
As the spoon runs away with the cat
The three little pigs laugh "Imagine that!"
And March Hare invites himself to tea

Riddle me riddle
She comes around the mountain to giggle
And all the King's men climb up the water spout
Down falls the rain to wash those spiders out
The sun comes out so the Mad Hatter can play
"Twinkle, twinkle, little bat, singing all the way."

Alonliness: Alone and Lonely are Different?

We have all been alone. We have all felt lonely.

Oh my gawd, such sad puppy! :0
Such sadness. Sad heart :0
Such sad. Puppy alone :0
Rain fall. Rain sad. Sad puppy :0
(doge reference)
But then, it got me thinking being the "alone" person I am most of the time, does being alone and being lonely both lead to loneliness?

I say no. Most introverts like me would probably say the same thing.

When we are alone, we don't FEEL lonely. They are two different things in our minds.

What about other people? What about some of you guys? Some of you alligators out there?

Well then, if alone-ness (being alone) is prolonged, and it starts to get to your mind and affects you negatively, you could start FEELING lonely. If I am alone, especially if I've had a bad day or if I'm sick, then I do start FEELING lonely despite the fact that I am an introvert and sometimes I would rather be alone even.

So I have been doing the all-caps for FEELING. I say we can safely say that

I love, do you?

I just randomly decided to post a bunch of things I love while I've made my daily stop at Procrastination Station. If you like some of the things I like,

Writerly Jargon Glossary

Some people aren't familiar with writerly words so here are a few I know and I'll add on the list if I come across any more.

MC = Main Character

POV = Point of View

WIP = Writing-in-progress

NaNoWriMo = National Novel Writing Month. Held in November and you are supposed to write 50,000 words in one month preferably from scratch. Often referred to as "NaNoWriMo" or "NaNo". You WIN by verifying your word count by the end of the month on the official NaNoWriMo website. There is also Camp NaNo which is held in April and July. Camp word amount is free. 10,000 words, 5000 words or even 60,000 if you wanna give yourself a push. Any word amount is fine. Also, you don't have write from scratch. That novel you were working on, a Book Two or Book Three of your series, anything goes. As long as you WIN by the end of the month by verifying your wordcount on the official Camp NaNoWriMo website.

Figment = Figment: Write Yourself In  (I need to put this here because.)

I am the Evil Puppeteer of my Characters

Source of Topic: This Website

Topic: Who or what inspired your characters

My Novel was Born Out of SAT Vocab Practice

I Am A Fiction Writer, Who Are You?

I've been writing for seriously for years. I've written so many stories I don't even know how many I have all together. I have over 400 poems and 1 writing-in-progress. If you asked me how much I like writing, words can't even describe it.

Since I have been blogging for a while now, and I'm beginning to tell more people about my novel, I thought I'd do a series of writerly things...anyway, enough babbling.

If you are also a writer like me,

What if we...? ABCDEFGoogle Search!

*climbs out of make-shift coffin* hey guys, no, don't shoot, I'm not a zombie YET!

I've been almost non-stop doing school work so here's a little bitty break. Sometimes we need to stop and get a few laughs. So here is,

"What if we...?" Google Search. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXY and Z! *you know how you just quickly sing the alphabet to make sure you have it in order? I just did that*

KEEP OUT of their personal issues, guyz, or become zombies

It is not normal.

Well I don't think it is.

For some reason we are so interested and seemingly care.

Especially if they are,

that's right you guessed it,

Da Heck is a "Practical" Joke?

Practical usually means something useful to your life, right? Something practical, like say, a practical job is a job that probably pays moderately, you have a nicely mapped daily routine, you're contributing to society in a useful way and all that good stuff.

But what da heck is a "practical" joke?

Jokes aren't USEFUL

Jokes don't always make your LIFE BETTER

Jokes don't CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY

Jokes aren't practical

But why, English language, do you say "a practical joke"? Pulling off a practical joke on someone? Why?

I'm a native English speaker living in a country where English is seen as

These aren't scary! Let me show you :)

I'm not easily scared. Like, I've never been scared in a shivering kind of way. Or rather, I've never shivered because I was scared.

Jump scares. We all know 'em. They aren't really scary, if you know what I mean. They just startle you.

BOO! :D

Oh mah gawd! :0

You know, that sorta thing.

I've wondered why I don't get scared easily. Someone told me it was probably because I know it isn't real. Also, I do say all kinds of funny kind of things when scary things pop up. Not because I'm scared and trying to distract myself but just because I HAVE watched a LOT of horror movies and not many of them phase me much anymore.

Here are some pics

Disney's Hidden Message in the Propaganda "The Spirit of '43" ??

Watch "The Spirit of '43" which came out in 1943.

I heavily advise you to turn down your volume for the first part of the video down below. The person who put it up included their own little intro and it's pretty loud while the rest of the video you kinda have to turn it up.

This is Disney's propaganda film, as you may have noticed.

In the short, there is a part where Donald Duck goes over to the thrifter hitler duck and knocks him out making the doors to the saloon crash.

The saloon doors clearly show some kind of symbol.

Here it is again in case you missed it:

What da heck is this? It is definitely something.

The Dark Tales of Snow White (that might make you cringe)

Once upon a time there lived a fair princess, skin as white as snow, lips as red as a rose, and hair as black as ebony. The princess was called, Snow White (which her first name and middle name or just her first name or is it her nickname? I would want to be named Thumbelina instead of Snow White just because it sounds more like a name even though it DOES have a thumb in it).

Wiki: Snow White (Disney)
The way she has her hands together is weird, I just realized
after all these years of not even thinking about it at all.
I tried it, it's the most awkward way to hold your hands together.
You should try it, too.
It's not natural.
And why does Snow White ALWAYS have
makeup on?
Many of you might know this story. The story of a fair princess, tricked by an evil queen dressed as an old woman selling apples, eating the poisoned apple, and falling into forever sleep. And then a year or so later waking up with a kiss from her prince.

But that's a child's tale!

Do you know the real story of Snow White? The real DARK story of Snow White?

Let me boast a little...NaNoWriMo

TAAAA DAAAA!!! :D

I finished Camp NaNoWriMo! 50,522 words with a goal of 50,000! Actually the story isn't finished but now I've given myself a little boost and I'll keep writing and writing until I finish my novel...but not at such a fast pace. I do want to start blogging again and I have some juicy topics planned *evil laugh*

See ya later, alligators :)

The Impossible Game...can it be DONE????

So, have you guys heard about The Impossible Game? It's where you are this orange block, or a piece of well-toasted toast, or something else, depending on your perception, and you jump over deadly triangles and leap over black-line lava and try to make it to the end. FIVE LEVELS OF THIS STUFF GUYS. If you've played it, I applaud you even if you didn't complete it. I wouldn't even attempt it because those things just...make me rage, ya know?

For those of you who have no clue, here's a video clip of some guys (apparently nerds) who tried to play this game. Let's see how they did...

What if...Japan got rid of the Emperor?

Hey! I finally have time to blogger! :D

So, I'm going big again, what if Japan got rid of the Emperor? I am Japanese, well, partially and I live in Japan so don't bash me saying I know nothing about Japan. I probably know more than those who bash. So anyway, what if. Like say, what if the Japanese government said,

Gov: "Oh, btw, Emperor."

Emp: "Yeah?"

Attention Post #200 and 1 Follower: Celebration Post! :D

Blog post No. 200.

WE ARE HERE! :D I almost can't believe how far I've come...wait, I think I can...anyway, I wanted to make No. 200 special, which explains the reason I haven't been updating recently (I've actually been preparing what to write about. Normally I just impulse-write). So, here are the things in store for No. 200...besides this long and painful introduction :P

Do Re Mi Rewrite Challenge

We all know, er, most of us know that Do is a deer, a female deer and Re is a drop of golden sun.

We all know Mi, a name I call myself and Fa, a long, long way to run. So is a needle pulling thread and La is a note to follow So. Ti, a drink with jam and bread. That will bring us back to Do. Oh, oh, oh.

(I made up a random and maybe more universal Do Re Mi at the end of the post. Cookie dough is involved.)

But who da heck decided Do will be a deer, and a female one. Here is the translated Japanese version of the Do Re Mi song.

Things that Make Me, Me.

It is often said that you are what you eat, or you are what you have in your room, or you can tell what kind of person someone is just by looking around their room to see what they have...or something along those lines.

I also think you can tell what kind of person someone really is in the inside by looking at the random pics they save in their PC or in their phone.

So *glances in your general direction*

Unanswerable Questions...Not anymore! :D

Try answering these first.

So, I'm not answering ones that look like ones I've answered before, and I'm not answering smart-alec questions or ones that are straight-out stupid or could make lots of people mad :)

No we're not :)

Since the questions aren't numbered, I put the questions in italics and the answers in, well, not italics.

Before they invented drawing boards, what did they go back to?

The carvings on the rockwalls.

How can you tell when sour cream goes bad?

I suppose, when it gets moldy or starts to taste salty or something like that.

How young can you die of old age?

Good King Wenceslas ONLY looked out. Nothing else.

So guys, since I started to get lots of views I thought
"OMG! I need to write things you'll be interested in and not the junk I usually write. I need to include more pics and more jokes and more memes and be on top of everything!!! GAHH!!!"
Suddenly blogging became a burden and I don't want that. Blogging has to be fun for me, too. If it's not fun for me, how can you guys enjoy it, right? :)
So, I'm gonna go back to talking about random things that I've wondered about for a while.

I know this is not the right season, but I've wondered, for a long time, "WHO IS HE?"

Him. This guy:

Cher Lloyd and Little Mix Should Do A Collab

They are both about the same age, right?

They both do Pop.

They both seem like really fun, nice people.

Cher Lloyd could add something interesting to Little Mix.

Their dressing styles are a bit similar.

Little Mix doesn't have a set sort of genre in the Pop field. Like, ballads, pop, beatboxing, rap, funky stuff.

Cher Lloyd is funny.

Little Mix are funny.

Both represent GIRL POWER! :D

Not to mention, they are both from the UK and can probably meet up easily when they are both in the country.

Do you think they should collab? I hope they see this :P

What if This Girl was...an alien, a mermaid, or Orange Face??

Whoever she is, she is very lovely, no doubt.

But what if she wasn't?

Let's imagine the worst case scenario.

Fantasy Food in Fantasy Stories: idk what da heck...

When writing a story, you need to make the world real, especially for fantasy writing. Or for my story that I'm writing. If you want, you can read it at "Figment: Write Yourself In". Go to "search". Type in "Liaffon" and click. Then search "writings".
****************************************** :) *smiles* *******************

So, you try to bring in REAL things to make your story more REAL even though it's not.

Like music, food, art, and stuff.

I got the music part down. It's good to go to Wiki and type in List of musical instruments and then look for ones that match your region of story and then see if they match your era, then look them up on YouTube to see what they sound like.

I found out that

In an alternative world, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, and Heidi Klum are Ugly

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am not a bieliber, or a directioner, or a swifty, or a Heidi Klum fan. I do like some of Taylor Swift's songs and I do think Heidi Klum is a funny, bubbly person. But the other two, nope, no attraction there.

Okay, that's that. So,

Imagine this:

In an alternative world, people WE think are beautiful are ugly. People we think are HOT are NOT.

Yes, in this world, kids are brought up to believe that extremely stereotypical ugly is actually so hot they can't take it. To them, what we consider HOT is so ugly dating is OUT OF THE QUESTION.

If you go to them, tell them this is who is considered cute, and then show them this:

You'll be sorry to know that...

You'll be sorry to know that this is a picture of an alpaca with the words added amateurly by me. I probably made this 3 to 4 years ago.

Very amateur, I must say.

Let's forget about the alpaca, just ignore it. Forget it's standing there looking at you. Focus. FOCUS ON MY WRITING, YO.

My brain is so tired I'm gonna be extremely random, okay?

Random?

Crazy Sentences for Meaningful Phrases

So, I live in Japan.

And I'm a native English speaker.

And I went to Japan schools.

And, we had English class.

And in English class, we had to learn phrases. The way we learned it was through a little phrase book that had the phrases and then a sample sentence.

Here are some of the (slightly pointless) sentences that Japan thought would be good for students to use to understand the phrases.

But now,

Beanie Babies I have...from the top of my head

From the top of my head to the bottom of my soles, let's see if I can remember all the names of all my Beanie Babies. As you'll learn if you read "Found a 17-year-old artifact in my room", I have over 100 Beanie Babies.

Let's get started now, shall we?

Okay, here is where I break a rule in "The Unspoken Rule of Blogs":

Found a 17-year-old artifact in my room

So you all know how it is.

Yeah. That.

So I did a little bit of room organiz *cough* cleaning. And look what I found :D

See ya later, alligators! Evolution of my Signature Ending Remark

I'm checking this out because I am curious. If I entertain you in the process, it's a plus for me! :D

YouTubers always have their signature ending remark, if not a signature beginning remark. I thought I would like to have a signature ending remark and I went on the Rollercoaster of Inconsistencies to finally find my treasure that is

"See ya later, alligators"

Let's look at my rickety ride, shall we?

At first

What my parents call famous people.

My parents have nicknames and things for famous actors and singers.

If anyone is offended, blame it on my parents.

Nicolas Cage
The Droolly Guy (says my Dad)

Justin Bieber
Gay (says my Mom. But I do not think he is. Just, maybe he lost his style a bit. I saw his x factor audition. He does have a good voice.)

Johnny Depp
is immediately associated with Edward Scissorhands by my Mom. (I like Johnny Depp. He's talented.)

Miley Cyrus
"I like her music but not her music videos." says my mother as she starts laughing and tells me about the Wrecking Ball music video. (I like Miley Cyrus...to some extent.)

Owl City (whose music I like)
Music is all the same, says Mom. Mom isn't so much of a lyrics person. She's more about the sound.

Carley Rae Jepsen (Call Me Maybe!)
"It's always a good time...who was it again, that girl?" says Mom. "Carly Jeppison?"

Madonna
Old, according to my Mom. (Mom has several Madonna CDs though.)

If I find any more, I'll add on.

Meanwhile, see ya later, alligators :D

Will they...? ABCDEFGoogle Search!

If you are unfamiliar, ABCDEFGoogle Search was inspired by SuperCarlinBrothers "Google Autofill" on YouTube. Hilarious stuff.

I call it ABCDEFGoogle Search because...well...this one is my version. The big difference is that I type everything.

So, you guys all know this ambiguous "they".

Like, "You know what they say, like father like son!"

"They" seem to know a lot of things. Who da heck are "they"?

Anyway, let's find out what all you Google users want to know if they will or not. And I will answer those questions and clear things up a bit :)

First off,

Extended Thought: How Could Someone Kill Death a.k.a the Grim Reaper?

Assuming that the Grim Reaper is real, which I don't believe he is but based on folktales and such...

What if Death dies?

If the Grim Reaper dies, does he become mortal? Or an angel? Or, what? Will he evaporate?

CAN Death die?

If Death dies, can WE die? Can we EVER die?

In Greek Mythology, or from wherever the Grim Reaper comes from, what would happen to all the stories if Death dies? If he DOES die, will he go to Heaven or Hell or just evaporate?

Let's talk about him, first. Who is the Grim Reaper? Who is Death? What it is he like?

A Story...I think...flash fiction, I suppose...

This is a live typing...thing. I have not decided the topic, I will just write a story and see where it leads me.

Let's start out with a classic beginning...

Once upon a time there was a King and a Queen and they both really loved to sing in the shower. But their neighbor, a really evil bunny-rabbit hated to hear them sing together like that in their individual showers. He had no one to sing songs with and he was very upset about the whole thing.

Now down the street in a cul-de-sac lived a crazy little old woman with crazy green and purple hair and she loved to try and do some voodoo and witchcraft but she was terrible at it. But only she knew that she was terrible at it.

So one day the bunny-rabbit, fed up with all this singing lovey dovey shower stuff, went down to the crazy little old woman.

Wanna start a band? You'll need a good name.

Band names are crazy, let's face it.

Even "The Beatles". It's not that I don't like The Beatles or anything but think about it.

Imagine being someone who has never heard of The Beatles.

"You'd like them," your friend says, "The Beatles."

You look at them perplexed. "What about the beetle?"

They laugh and shake their head. "No, no, no, THE Beatles."

"A particular type?"

"No, no, no, a band."

"A band of beetles???" you are utterly confused. Last you checked, bugs could not sing.

But that's the thing with band names. They are strange and weird and that's what makes them unique. Here are a bunch of (what I thought were) pretty funny, weird, interesting band names from our good friend Wikipedia's List of band name etymologies along with a bit of commentary.

Note: If you know any of these bands, I apologize in advance for my commentary is based on the fact that I have no idea who da heck these guys are. I'm just judging them by their band name. And it's supposed to be fun. Meow.

a-ha

Now, this is almost clever. Like, "Have you heard of AHA!" "What? What?" "AHA! The band." "Which? What? Where?" "AHA!"
Or maybe they pronounce it "ay-ha".

Air Supply

Kind of understandable. You do need a good amount of air supply to sing. I don't think you need to supply it though. Air is all around us so this band is probably singing underwater.
