Well, I'll have to say it does make certain people extremely obsessed with it and then those people may become hostile to others who don't think the same way as them. Idk. But I think it affects you a bit. If you choose to let it affect you.

No. Unless you choose to become super mega obsessed with it, cuz I have certainly see people going great lengths for anime stuffs. But anime is NOT a cult. I repeat, it may look like one but it is NOT a cult. Don't worry so much.

cause depression?
Is anime such a negative thing? Three questions ABC and all of them are negative...sheesh! :/
But no, I don't think it would cause depression. If your favorite character dies and you are depressed, maybe it's not the death of the character that caused it but the fact that you are kind of alone and you have not so many people to talk to and you take that out on anime death. I'm no expert but this sounds reasonable...right?

No. You are not the tv, anime can not turn you on. You can, however, use the remote control to turn on the tv to watch anime. It is as simple as that.

In it's original Japanese version, yes, it does. In the English version...some things I think like signs in the road and stuff like that might be in kanji. If you don't know what kanji is, you know what to do! :D Ask Google!
