Idea: Create a Website where Artists can Collaborate

Do you ever have times where your mind just won't shut up?
It's not a bad thing, of course not! But sometimes, don't you wish you could do something more about it?

Because I write A LOT and watch a lot of YouTube or documentaries or movies or listen to music and watch music videos...sometimes I get ideas that I think would be perfect for either an animation or a short film.

But I'm not a film guru or someone who has gone to film school. I tried editing a video I made with Galligator on YouTube because she's not good with all that stuff and it was soooo tedious! Cutting the video in the right places...anyway, what I'm trying to say is,

there should be a place, a large community online, a website of sorts accessible to many people in the world, where artists can all gather easily and share their skills and collaborate easily online.

I have lots of ideas for a short film or animation but I have no film skills and I feel script writing is so tedious and not for me. But I can write short stories or little bits of ideas in story form. Perhaps someone with animation skills and script writing skills can understand while I'm coming from and we can work together.

SKYPE. Now that's a great way to collaborate. There should be a SKYPE for Artists so that artists can feel safe collaborating with people they may never get to meet in person.

Not just someone like me, but someone like...say, maybe you are interested in making an animation but the thought is daunting. Through collaboration with more professional artists, you can find someone to collaborate with with ease and they can teach you.

And there should of course be rules. We don't want any scammers or people who try to get you to buy stuff. There should be a trial period. You work with that person for about a few weeks just to see if you can make it work. If you find out early on, cancel it. If it seems to work, keep at it.

The service itself should be free. I don't want to have to pay for it. Then I'll just say "Forget it, I'll just let my ideas go to waste."

What do you think? I think this could work.

Oh, there should be a screening process. The people who own the website can screen out and potential scammers or promoters selling products. And of course, nothing R-rated. And the website will live off of donors and sponsors.

I think it can work. I think so.

YouTube isn't enough, guys. That's for people who already know HOW to make videos or ones good enough.

Yes, there should be a place where artists from all over the world can collaborate with ease.

See ya later, alligators! :D

Lost Kid? No prob! Put a GPS-Tracker in their Necks!

Yup. Let's ruin our children even more with technology by putting it inside their flesh!

Before you send out the FBI to find my whereabouts (or even my existence on Planet Earth because...who knows?) hear me out first.

What People Watching Can Teach Us

First it teaches us to Make Every First Letter Into A Capital Letter... no it doesn't.

Since I'm kind of an introvert...no let's rephrase that. Since I am a quiet shy introvert gamer girl who writes stories and draws pictures and hates math and if that wasn't enough is also an only child, I do lots of people watching.

I mean TONS!

No, more than that...well, anyways.

Like, from my people watching, I can tell you about the system of girls and boys in junior high in Japan. Like, how girl groups and boy groups work and if they mingle what kinds of girls and boys mingle. Also, boy-group hierarchies.

From my people watching I can ask questions that people who don't watch people will never ask like,

  • Why do couples hold hands?
  • Why do some people discipline their child by slapping them across the head?
  • When I get old, will my back bend over?

Grandma from Garfield Christmas show...thing. For the season.

From my people watching I think up scenarios of things that I would never do but am positive that it can be possible if someone wanted to do it...(but don't do it).

  • I bet I can take that bulging wallet half hanging out of that guy's pocket while he is on his phone waiting in line or talking with someone. I bet he would barely notice it.
  • In this store, the store people don't even watch you while you shop. I bet I could shoplift.
  • That old guy over there just bought the train ticket meant for children! It's like 100yen cheaper! He's got some great ideas, I bet I could do it, too.

The last scenario really did happen. An old guy just bought a ticket for 40yen (the price for the children) when it's supposed to be 140yen (the price for teens and adults). He's got it going good there.

Idk if any of my own people watching can teach you anything... maybe it can. I mean, I can tell you in detail (some detail you might not care about) about a certain scene I saw or remember a certain fashion thing that was weird or interesting or crazy or creative.

When I walk around Tokyo and I see one of these
I do a double take then think quietly to myself,
"Oh mah gaud! Only in Tokyo."

I can't remember what people talk about when I eavesdrop (sometimes) on their conversations but I can tell you if it's something that shocked me but when I remember what they said, I usually forget what they looked like but vaguely remember how old they were or something like that.

Anyway, people watching can be very interesting and helpful (?) so you should try it. You might be amazed at what kinds of crazy people (other than yourself) are out there.

5 Reasons You Should Try Goat Cheese

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE goat cheese.

I love cheese but I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE goat cheese.

Oh mah gaud it's like the best thing ever on this planet! Well maybe not to that extent...anyways...

Some people hear "goat" cheese and are all like WHA DA HEYCK!

So let me tell you FIVE reasons you should try goat cheese.

1. It's the best thing ever and you miss out on LIFE if you don't try it. YOLO (boy that's old)

2. It has a taste to it. It's not like Plain Jane mozzarella cheese.

3. It is not salty but it does have a certain "salt" to it.

4. Goat cheese in eggs is like the breakfast of the century. The GOLDEN BREAKFAST.

5. Goat cheese on fresh warm baguette is like...AWWWW GOTTA HAVE SOME OF THAT!

So there!

Now go try it.

See ya later, alligators! :D

5 Things To Do When You Are Bored by an EXPERT

The thing about being an only child is you have to learn how to entertain yourself.

So I'm an expert, naturally. I've been an only child since I was born.

So, here are FIVE things you can do when you are bored

1. Get your movie thing on your camera on your phone and make hand puppet plays.

2. Gather all your stuffed animals together, set a blanket down on the floor, pretend the blanket is water and your stuffed animals are drowning and pretend that you are the one to save them and make them talk while you miraculously save them by throwing them on your bed and making them bounce sometimes.

3. Draw "artistic" pictures in your paint feature on your computer.

4. Make up a song with lyrics and backtrack and everything but all in your head.

5. Sing the dark Christmas songs by putting all the words in antonyms.

How many of these do you think I've actually done?

All of them, DUH!

Kill off mankind and start over

You know, the way we have evolved on this one-of-a-kind earth...it's like a privilege. I mean, initially, Earth was an Animal's planet. There weren't any humans. Then something happened and humans started to roam the earth. Then something else happened and we started to get smarter and then we started to get greedy and then we got all religious and then scientific and the more we found out, the more questions we had.

And each question, we went to great lengths to find the answer, like sending rockets up to space.

But
initially
we weren't on this earth. We were added.

So, we have no right to be all conflicty with each other and destroying the planet that has PROVIDED US WITH A PLACE TO LIVE.

It's like living with a roommate and not respecting their boundaries. It's not the earth's fault we go through so many hardships. It's our own fault.

So, about the shocking title I gave this post...um, well over the course of evolution, we have created religion, science, literature, and disease. We have created reason to conflict, boundaries, and weapons. We have created wars upon wars upon wars.

Today, we have SOOOOOOO many problems.
Let me make a short (or not so short) list of all the stuff that's going on today and make you overwhelmed.

In no particular order,
Religious wars
Boundary wars
Wars dealing with resources
Wars dealing with races
Civil wars dealing with politics
Politics itself
Presidents or Prime Ministers who don't listen
Diseases with no cure
Diseases hard to deal with
Poor countries
Countries with a wide rich-poor gap
Governmental censor ships
Robbery / Theft
Illegal weapons
Illegal drug trade
Illegal wildlife trade (animals and plants)
Sexual assault
Sexual abuse
Domestic Violence
Child abuse
Abortion
Animal abuse
Freedom of speech (absent or not absent)
Bombs (of any kind)
Nuclear weapons
Nuclear power plants
Exploitation of natural resources
Deforestation
Spies (going to one country illegally to find out information)
Organized crime
Education (lack of it or not enough)
Discrimination (gender, religion, race)
Tobacco / Cigarettes
Crime against humanity
Human rights abuse
Terrorism

and...I'm pretty sure there's a ton of other stuff that's problematic in our world.
Well, what do you think? That's a pretty long list isn't it?

With all these problems though, its actually amazing that we haven't wiped ourselves off this planet yet. I mean, its a pretty dangerous place to live in, if you know what I mean. Despite all of these things, and it sure is gonna get worse with technology improving with hacking and computer viruses becoming a problem, we have managed to survive.

But for how long? Will the earth destroy itself or will we destroy the earth?

And, sometimes I wish we had a restart or refresh button. We'd just press it from time to time when global problems have become too much to deal with.

Too bad we can't deal with problems one at a time. Like, we'd deal with, say, religious wars and while we're dealing with it, the other problems will naturally come to a halt.

Boy, it sure would be nice to do that.

But since we can't, maybe we should kill off mankind and start over? Surely there's a way to make evolution happen so that we never have conflicts and we can be just like animals; a part of the environment. Sure culture is important and all but how can THAT even thrive in this messed up world anyway?

Well, it's just a thought.

I'm certainly not gonna be the one to do it. And I don't want other people to get crazy ideas. But seriously, we need to buckle down and get these problems out of the way before we can enjoy our lives at all.

"All of you people out there, get your lazy butts off the chair and get cracking!"
says a rather annoyed voice that may or may not be your hallucination.

Ideas to Counter Global Warming

These aren't ideas posed by any official and I warn you that I'm pretty strict about if they are possible or not.  Some of you might say, "Pshh, there's no such thing as global warming!"  So if you don't believe me, don't read this post!

Anyway, some of these are my ideas built upon rumours or other things I've read or heard.  Don't jump on me too much on this, okay?

So before I start, and there are five points-like things, I'd like to briefly talk about my evaluation.
First, it is a scale of 1 to 4 so there are no inbetweeny "3"s.  The scale is, for example if I gave a point-like thing a 4, that means it is the easiet to accomplish.  Also, if I give it a 1, it is the hardest to accomplish.  The middle is, 2 for a little bit hard, and 3 for a little bit easy.  As you can see there is no such inbetweeny thing otherwise each and every one of them would be inbetweeny.  No, we have to strict about these matters.

Okay, enough with the boredom explanation.

Solution A: Cooperation of the countries
=> Global warming is not just one country's problem.  All of us are part of this.
                    Evaluation for accomplishment = 1

Solution B: Electricitized Petroleum or Oil companies
=> In recent years, gas guzziling cars are becoming more and more electric starting with the famous Prius.  But if we erase oil companies completely, the work industry may collapse and we'll get tons of unemployed people maybe even causing mayhem through the world.  So, here's where I thought, why don't we sell electricity instead?  Sell it like we do oil and gas.  Have not gas stations but Electro Stations.  We could probably even learn to sell power by the wind, by the tide, and by water.  We might be able to "farm electricity".  People can get jobs there.  They can work as those who regulate the farms.
                     Evaluation = 2

Solution C: Stop production of plastic food containers (the kinds that food comes in when you buy it at the groceory store)
=> Different from paper, plastic takes much longer to decompose so stopping the production of plastic would definitely be better for the environment.
                     Evaluation = 4

Solution D: Forest restoration
=> Forests can always be restored.  If people burned the trees down, cut them down or whatever, those people can recreate the forest that once was.  People can bring fresh nutrition-packed dirt to a land that has been turned to ashes.  If they cut down trees and leave stumps, they can make sure the stumps grow fresh branches or they can plant new trees.  Planting new trees is something you can do even in your local neighborhood.
                    Evaluation = 1

Solution E: Eliminate air pollution
=> This will be easy if Solution B is completed (Evaluation = 4)
All industrial areas need to stop using oil and coal and work solely on electricity.  Once this is possible, surely the problem of air pollution can be solved.
                   Evaluation without Solution B completed = 1

WARNING: Solution B to D can only be possible once Solution A is completed otherwise we're going nowhere.

Earth, Ecology, and Ideas to save our home

I wonder what the world looked like before people came to trash it...

Oh, hi!  I didn't know you were there.  Sorry, I just got kind of... frustrated, if you know what I mean.  Sometimes I see all this trash around and wonder why people of all people would do such a thing.  It's like they don't care...and they actually don't, you know.

First see, the bacteria were hanging around, then creatures in the water, then one guy decides to climb up onto land.  That's where we start.  I'm not doing any research tonight so you can look up the details yourself.  Then we all start to evolve.  Then people came out.  Not out of the blue, it's evolution.  We probably trashed the earth back then but lots of stuff was able to decompose and return to the ground so it wasn't like there was any garbage around.

But then, people got smart.  They started to evolve in their brains.  What happened after that?  Plastic, metal, aluminum, paper, fabric, Styrofoam, oil, soap... lots of stuff we thought were "convenient" emerged.  At one point in Japan in a certain prefecture, there were so many factories that the air was always filled with awful smells, smoke, and toxic stuff that the children had to go to school wearing masks even when they didn't have a cold!  That's pollution, people.

Not just factories but people's houses did awful things, too.  You know that dish washing soap?  I don't know about now because it has gotten much better but, that soapy water would drain into rivers and streams and even all the way to the ocean!  Those poor fishies...

Some places in China are so dirty, that the water is all gunky and yucky.  Who would want to live in a place with icky water?  Gross!

You know what else the people did to the earth?  If you're an adult, I hope you know that paper is made from trees.  Hey, you there, nodding your head like it's an interesting fact, don't think you have me fooled, how come you didn't pay attention at school, huh?

Anyway, people cut down trees to make paper, then sometimes they leave the area bare and don't plant more trees instead.  You should always give back what you take.

Yikes, it's almost 23:00 and I'm running out of time!

Okay, here's the thing, trees, they suck in all the CO2 that we breathe out and that cars and stuff shove into the innocent air.  The trees then blow out oxygen believe it or not and you better because it is scientifically proven!  So what happens if there are less trees...?  More CO2 right?  What does CO2 do?  It causes global warming.  Look up the details yourself.

And what do factories do?  CO2.  All that smoke and stuff, that has carbon dioxide in it.  Which is CO2.  It's the same thing, okay?  If the sky is covered in CO2, what happens then?

The o-zone layer breaks and the sun directly penetrates the earth.  The o-zone layer is the thing that protects us from the direct ultra violet rays of the sun.  Ultra violet rays can be hazardous to your skin.  I know that much now look up the rest yourself.  Research doesn't always have to be school work and gloom you know.  It can be fun.  Maybe you can have a Researching Contest with your friends?

So, anyway, how can we stop this?  Well, killing the human race so the earth can thrive is a sacrificing approach but I don't think it's such a good idea.  How about all those "smart" ideas we had in the past and still do now?  You know, "convenience"?  That could be dealt with.  We could ride bicycles more if we're only traveling a short distance.  If we needed to go long distances and need a car, we need more Eco friendly ones.  At least that has been changing.

What else can we do?  How about plastic?  That stuff, you know, even if it goes to a landfill, it doesn't decompose very well and could even stay intact for many, many, many years.  Animals can choke on plastic when they eat it, thinking that it's food.  Whoa, I didn't say anything about creating smarter animals.  That's not the point here.  And what would you do if man's best friend was smarter than you, eh?

We should stop making anything plastic.  Bringing our own Eco bags aren't good enough.  We need to take more action.  Even if your whole town uses Eco bags and the next-door town doesn't what's the point?  See, there is no point.  Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE has to pitch in here.

Now how about water pollution?  How about electricity?  How about fossil fuels?  How about all the waste we produce?

...You know, we humans have sooooooooooooo much stuff to fix even though we are sooooooooooooooo tiny compared to the gigantic earth that we live on.  And you know what, HALF the world is worrying about other stuff like war, guns, nuclear power plants that are pointless when we have all kinds of other ways to get electricity, immigration, human rights, poverty... I know what you're thinking.  Of course that stuff is soooooooooooo important to deal with but... by they time we solve it and look up, what if... what if the beautiful earth is all gone by then?  What if we don't see the damage we've done to it?

...What if it's too late?

Now is not too late... I hope.  We need to take care of the place we live on before we take care of ourselves.  Stop talking about guns America, stop fighting you people in Palestine and other countries over there, stop doing stuff that will provoke conflict China, stop being complete idiots about matters I could solve for you in a matter of minutes.  This isn't a time for conflict, you hear?!

Look, I don't mean to be controversial or harsh.  I'm a person who just cares about the world, about the people (even the people that get on my nerves), about the animals that are becoming non-existent thanks to all your selfish actions, and someone who is still too small to do anything alone.  There are these tigers in Indonesia that are becoming extinct because of poaching... which has nothing to do with this post, but I asked my Indonesian friend if he knew about it.  He said he didn't care.  What the freaking little... sorry, I shall control my anger for your sake.

But hey, I can't do it alone people!  You need to notice stuff.  Look around you... no I don't mean looking like just plain ole lookin, I  MEAN  LOOK.  Like really look.  EVERYTHING HAS A PURPOSE so we must save it.  In "Hugo", the boy Hugo said that all things have a purpose so there isn't one thing that is useless.  He was talking about himself but I really liked that line because it can be applied to anything.  If you haven't seen the movie "Hugo" you should.

Anyway don't take this beautiful earth for granted.  When you look the next time, it might not be there, you know.

Never mind if I keep going off topic.  The point is, we need to care for our earth just like we keep house or organize our room.  Only the house is the earth and the residents are all the people who live on it.

I didn't even revise this post except for spellcheck so... don't bother commenting on that part.  But do state your ideas, please.  At least someone cares... right?  Right?
