Here it is, if you'd like to read it, it's kinda short.
I wanted to sort of...rewrite that article just because it was the first one and I was...you know...a newbie blogger and a lot of the article doesn't make sense.
Apparently ghost sightings are pretty normal and even popular.
Sometimes the footage is good but sometimes you can't tell wha da heck you're supposed to be looking at.
Ghost smashes bottles apparently in this one.
I watched this thing twice but it's so blurry it could've been anything, really. Like a malfunction *raises eyebrow on one side and gives the "you're kidding me, right?" look*
I don't see glasses flying around. Or wine bottles breaking.
When you read the article, the only person that makes actual comments is the licensee Bradbury.
I'm suspicious of you, Bradbury. You sure you didn't make this all up?
He says "we saw bottles flying" but who is this "we"? Bradbury, Bradbury, and Bradbury?
And then the thing about locals...well, of course there are going to be some people who actually see ghosts breaking bottles in this super blurry video footage that isn't creepy AT ALL!
And a ghostly figure dancing in front of cameras? If a person moves fast, he can look blurry. If he is wearing all white, he can look ghostly. If it was Bradbury, he'll know exactly what to do.
And this was also still back in 2014. You can edit videos nicely so that they look creepy and look like "ghost footage".
When you go to Google Search and type "paranormal sightings" there are
567,000 results.
Specifically "ghost sightings" is 5,150,000.

Let me talk about a few questions:
1. Even though ghosts are often seen as sinister, how come we like to talk about them?
2. If ghosts are real as some people claim, why can't I see them?
1. Even though ghosts are often seen as sinister, how come we like to talk about them?
The idea of the mysterious and unknown has been intriguing for us since the dawn of the human race. For instance, in Teotihuacan, Mexico, the ancient civilization had war gods and the serpent god Quetzalcoatl according to this article. This was around 150 BCE and into the 4th century CE. In Mesopotamian religions, ghosts were often associated with spirits taken on the personality and shape of the person who had passed, says Wikipedia. And I know for a fact that the Bible mentions the "Holy Ghost" which isn't sinister at all.
"The ancient Romans believed a ghost could be used to exact revenge on an enemy by scratching a curse on a piece of lead or pottery and placing it into a grave."(Wikipedia: Ghost).
This is where it gets a bit sinister.
"Ghosts reported in medieval Europe tended to fall into two categories: the souls of the dead, or demons. The souls of the dead returned for a specific purpose. Demonic ghosts were those which existed only to torment or tempt the living."
(Wikipedia: Ghost).
It is interesting how despite their sinister aspects, people still talked about ghosts and later in the Renaissance Era, they took further interest in it and indulged themselves in necromancy.
And now today, people LOVE a good ghost story or watching some footage on YouTube of a ghost making things levitate.
BUT WHY do we like to talk about them? Maybe it's some sort of morbid fascination with death which is unknown to us until we die. And even when we die, it is still up for debate how much we are aware of what is going on after death.
And if we can talk about it while we are alive or tamper with it knowing nothing will actually happen, we can, in a sense, experience that morbid unknown without dying.
Life is so short, guys. Why indulge in death stuffs? Why not just enjoy the now?
2. If ghosts are real as some people claim, why can't I see them?
Some people believe that they have seen a ghost or had a paranormal experience. In Japan there are sayings about ghost stuffs. Such as, if you are near death or someone near you has just died, you may see ghosts or have a paranormal experience. If you even think "Oh so sad, poor thing" about the person or creature that died, that creature will follow you and even torment you in ghostly form. Ghosts who haven't died peacefully or have something left to do on this earth, they could stay on this earth and even become a nuisance to people by hurting and even killing them.
But for all that is said about ghosts, but for all the "sightings" I hear about, I never see anything!
I know a bunch of people who have had paranormal experiences (even my own mother!) and yet, ghosts never seem to come my way. My mother is no ghost believer yet she does believe she has had a paranormal experience.
I think some of you might feel the same way. If they are so real, why can't we all see them? What would be so terribly bad if we all saw ghosts living among us and it was a normal thing. Tell me, what.
So, are ghosts real?
Let me show you some "real" ghost pics and comment on them :)
The red circle and arrow were already there. I didn't draw them. I don't see anything in this apparently abandoned mental hospital.
You know, that's a window there. And when things from the inside reflect in the window, and you take a picture, the reflection can mingle with what is outside making certain things look like...er, ghosts. This one is just a reflection misinterpretation.
This one, I can make it. I didn't but I can. You just make the second pic disappear a little, fade it off in some parts, adjust the lighting a bit, put a red circle around it and say LOOK! GHOST!
And that, is a person. Unless the peeps who took the pic CLAIM that there was no one there, HONESTLY. But c'mon, really? :/
What if it's just dust, or a dirty camera, or an old camera or just someone's finger. My Mom always gets a blur of her finger in a pic. If you moved away quick and took a pic, it might look like this.
After all this talky talk, writey write, what do YOU believe? What is YOUR conclusion?
See ya later, alligators! :D
Final pic, I promise.
i never know the use of adobe shadow until i saw this post. thank you for this! this is very helpful. Stephen King
