Dead Cat in the Road Starring: Courage the Cowardly Dog

The title is morbid and I know it.

But guys, today's post is as real as it gets.

Today, January 16, 2016, I saw a dead cat in the middle of the road.

No, lets be real here. I'm serious.

So, we say we saw a dead cat in the road.

But when you think about it, if you have attempted to be religious and read the bible or gone to church a couple times, you would find that the actual cat--Tabby, shall we call him--is not there. He is already gone and it is just a cat body that is lying in the middle of the road.

Tabby himself is actually already up in Heaven or Paradise or whatever your religion calls it.

Even if you don't have a religion and your kid asks "Where is Tabby?" You would probably say "Tabby is gone."

Essentially you are saying that Tabby, that happy cat, is not there anymore even though we clearly see his body is there.

So what I'm saying is we shouldn't say "I saw a dead cat in the middle of the road".

We should instead say "I saw a dead cat body in the middle of the road".

Makes better sense since we know that the actual cat, personality and all, is gone.

Where did it go? I'm gonna let you guys interpret that with your own beliefs cuz each religion believes maybe...slightly differently.

Well, that's the only point I wanted to make. That when you think about it, the actual cat is gone and there is left lying in the road only the cat body which is dead. Probably hit by a car driven by a human. Or, it could have been driven by a dog, maybe...

Not Courage the Cowardly Dog though. He would have veered the car off a cliff if it meant not hitting something and causing horror for himself. But he probably would have run over Katz who always tries to do something bad to Courage's precious Muriel.

But Katz always fails because of Courage's love for his new-found family.
