Oh Lilly you make me laugh so hard XD
The peeing dream though...so real.
Anyway, if you know about me and dreams (which you don't so let me tell you) I have a pretty good memory of dreams. Maybe it's because I write stories and my imagination can grab hold of a story and never let it go (no we will not sing "Let It Go". I am not letting it go.)
Or maybe it's because I write down my dreams sometimes...especially if it's epic.
So here are some types of dreams I've had and you can tell me if you've experienced similar dreams or not.
1. Recurring Theme Dreams (all in a short span of time)
One week for 3 days (right after another) I had dreams that were about
someone dying. It was so sad and so disturbing and I don't even know why I was having those dreams.
The final dream felt so real and I woke up crying! I was crying, guys! :0
It was about a friend of mine and he had some awful disease but he didn't want to tell me and then he died without telling me and I found out after he died and I was so, so devastated and was like, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!?! *sob sob*
I woke up that morning and sent him a text because it felt so real and he had to reassure me that he was perfectly okay.
Another 3-time recurring dream was that my cat gave birth to kittens.
So I have a cat (my beautiful queen to which I would gladly be a servant to...no, she is my little sister I swear!) and the moment we got her, we had her neutered. So there is NO WAY she can have kittens.
But I had three dreams about her having kittens last year. 2016 was a weird year for dreams, seriously. And I had those dreams almost one right after another. Maybe there was a few week gap for one of them but it wasn't too long in between that I would forget the dream.
The first one she had the kittens and they were about a year old and running around the house.
The second one she had kittens and they were a few months old and still little.
The third one, very recent, she just had the kittens. Like, they had JUST come out of her stomach. New born kittens. In my dream I was like, "Baby kittens are ugly" (I know it's redundant to think "baby kittens" but that's what I thought in my dream.)
2. Completing a Task Dreams
These are those dreams that I would have if I'm stressing out about finishing something or telling something to someone before I go to bed.
I would have a dream that I did that something or that I told that friend.
It would feel so real I would wake up and tell myself it was a dream and I didn't actually do it yet.
3. Being Chased Dreams
You can tell by the watermark that this is an old "cover with no story". The font is cool but the overall look is kinda messy. But it's about being chased and ish. |
Usually these being chased dreams involves me and some other random strangers. I have had so many different types of being chased dreams and some of them were downright epic, if you ask me :P
I could write a whole blog post on my Being Chased Dreams.
Huh...guess I stress out a lot :P
4. Fighting Against Enemy Dreams
Similar to the Being Chased Dreams are the Fighting Against Enemy Dreams. Sometimes they happen in the same dream. I am being chased and I am fighting some kind of enemy.
Reminds me of those dystopian novels where a group of rebels is being chased by their enemy, some government people, whom they are also fighting against.
Maybe I was a rebel in a previous life...like Katniss? :P
5. End of the World Dreams
I have had a few epic End of the World Dreams. And I have turned them into stories so they wouldn't be lost forever.
One of them was the world was ending because of some kind of zombie apocalypse.
The other was the world was ending because the moon was going to crash into the earth and everything was going to just burn up and flood and stuff.
6. Zombie Dreams
This was weird when I had these dreams because I had not watched ANY, I mean ZERO, zombie movies many months prior to these dreams. Yet my brain could not get out of the cliche. Ho-hum, so sad.
These dreams had the honors of becoming stories :)
7. Future Prediction Dreams
Okay, okay, you guys might think this is totally nuts and so do I.
When I was in...5th grade I think it was. Or maybe it was 6th. I had this dream that I didn't write down but still remember to this day because it shocked me when I read the book.
Okay, let me break it down for you guys.
My grandma, my Nana, sent me a few books from the states (I live in Japan) and they were teen romance novels but really dumbed down kind of ones. No explicit scenes of course not, but there were kissing scenes (with clothes on, don't worry) and just super cheesy ish going on.
I had stashed them in my closet to read one day. I wasn't interested in them yet. I didn't even read any of it. I just put them in my closet for later.
Around the time I forgot about them (sorry Nana) I had this romantic dream.
It was just a blur of a scene of me and a guy hugging.
(start cringing guys, this is going to be bad)
He starts leaning in and I know (the me in the dream) he is going to kiss me.
He pauses and asks, "Is this okay?"
And I answer, "It's very okay," in a breathy sort of cliche romantic way *cringe*
And we kiss supposedly.
When I woke up I thought, "It's very okay"? Bad English much. Apart from that I had not had any romantic dreams and I had no idea where that could've come from. Oh, and no idea who the guy was. He had dark brown hair though and he might have had his shirt off but I don't recall.
So a few days passed and then I happened to flip through that romantic book because I was bored. I start reading it and it's really short and I don't remember any of the rest of it because one scene sticks out.
The Main Character girl and her guy she likes have finally gotten a moment together and they are hugging.
He asks, "Is this okay?" and leans in to kiss her.
She says, "It's okay".
I'm like "WHAT"
WHAT
WHAT
I reread it.
I reread it.
I recall my dream, I can still remember it.
So much deja vu right now, yo.
It was the scene from my dream!
No, really!
And I swear to you guys I had not read the book prior to that dream. I HAD NOT! Not even flipped randomly through the pages. I SWEAR!
Future prediction? Is that even possible? Or was this just some kind of coincidence? WHA DA ISH???? *miniature panic*
Dreams are probably the best part of sleeping, like, I don't think reality is that good yet :P
Dream on, guys! Hope you have epic dreams when you go to sleep.
See ya later, alligators! :D
