Sometimes people think celebrities are
too popular
too rich
too pretentious
to be human

Sometimes people think celebrities
aren't human
That they don't do anything but
sing
get drunk
die
dress up in crazy outfits
and never ever do anything
we consider "human"

Sometimes people think celebrities
don't go grocery shopping
don't change diapers
don't get sick
don't show compassion toward others
don't suffer in life

Sometimes people think celebrities

But just because the media doesn't show that side
doesn't mean they aren't
Celebrities are just normal people
and the only difference is that
they go on stage
television
magazines
The only difference is that
they are famous
chased by the media
have a little more money than the normal folk

and they suffer in life

They get old

Celebrities aren't crazy
We all are
Look around
Everyone does crazy things

Celebrities aren't stupid
They are only human
Whatever they do
is just us
reflected in them

Sometimes celebrities
are just human
Sometimes they are "people"
and people judge them
for being human
for doing what humans do
for being real
for showing the most extreme of what
a person
with persistence
and a love for life
can do
