You know, the way we have evolved on this one-of-a-kind earth...it's like a privilege. I mean, initially, Earth was an Animal's planet. There weren't any humans. Then something happened and humans started to roam the earth. Then something else happened and we started to get smarter and then we started to get greedy and then we got all religious and then scientific and the more we found out, the more questions we had.
And each question, we went to great lengths to find the answer, like sending rockets up to space.
But
initially
we weren't on this earth. We were added.
So, we have no right to be all conflicty with each other and destroying the planet that has PROVIDED US WITH A PLACE TO LIVE.
It's like living with a roommate and not respecting their boundaries. It's not the earth's fault we go through so many hardships. It's our own fault.
So, about the shocking title I gave this post...um, well over the course of evolution, we have created religion, science, literature, and disease. We have created reason to conflict, boundaries, and weapons. We have created wars upon wars upon wars.
Today, we have SOOOOOOO many problems.
Let me make a short (or not so short) list of all the stuff that's going on today and make you overwhelmed.
In no particular order,
Religious wars
Boundary wars
Wars dealing with resources
Wars dealing with races
Civil wars dealing with politics
Politics itself
Presidents or Prime Ministers who don't listen
Diseases with no cure
Diseases hard to deal with
Poor countries
Countries with a wide rich-poor gap
Governmental censor ships
Robbery / Theft
Illegal weapons
Illegal drug trade
Illegal wildlife trade (animals and plants)
Sexual assault
Sexual abuse
Domestic Violence
Child abuse
Abortion
Animal abuse
Freedom of speech (absent or not absent)
Bombs (of any kind)
Nuclear weapons
Nuclear power plants
Exploitation of natural resources
Deforestation
Spies (going to one country illegally to find out information)
Organized crime
Education (lack of it or not enough)
Discrimination (gender, religion, race)
Tobacco / Cigarettes
Crime against humanity
Human rights abuse
Terrorism
and...I'm pretty sure there's a ton of other stuff that's problematic in our world.
Well, what do you think? That's a pretty long list isn't it?
With all these problems though, its actually amazing that we haven't wiped ourselves off this planet yet. I mean, its a pretty dangerous place to live in, if you know what I mean. Despite all of these things, and it sure is gonna get worse with technology improving with hacking and computer viruses becoming a problem, we have managed to survive.
But for how long? Will the earth destroy itself or will we destroy the earth?
And, sometimes I wish we had a restart or refresh button. We'd just press it from time to time when global problems have become too much to deal with.
Too bad we can't deal with problems one at a time. Like, we'd deal with, say, religious wars and while we're dealing with it, the other problems will naturally come to a halt.
Boy, it sure would be nice to do that.
But since we can't, maybe we should kill off mankind and start over? Surely there's a way to make evolution happen so that we never have conflicts and we can be just like animals; a part of the environment. Sure culture is important and all but how can THAT even thrive in this messed up world anyway?
Well, it's just a thought.
I'm certainly not gonna be the one to do it. And I don't want other people to get crazy ideas. But seriously, we need to buckle down and get these problems out of the way before we can enjoy our lives at all.
"All of you people out there, get your lazy butts off the chair and get cracking!"
says a rather annoyed voice that may or may not be your hallucination.

I feel separated from my family :(
So... I need get this off of my chest...
Do you guys ever feel like you're not part of your family even though you are?
When I go home, sure I'm welcomed back by my Mom and Dad and we eat dinner together and watch a movie and spend quality time together and go to bed.
The next morning, it's me living in a house where there is this couple that ignore me sometimes because they're too caught up in their own world.
If I said this to my parents, surely they'd be super upset and try to include me in things but then a day or so later, it'll be back to what it was before.
They went to this couple workshop thing a year ago in the beginning of 2013. It was a workshop by John Gottman. I looked him up and he doesn't seem like a bad person or a cult leader so I don't think he's to blame. So maybe my parents interpreted it wrong or maybe they took it too seriously.
Anyway, no matter how many times I tell them how I feel about it all, they don't change!
You know what, I give up. I don't know how to tell them what I feel; I've tried everything I could think of.
If you guys have any ideas on how to get the happy family back, let me know in the comments.

List of Often Seen Types of Protagonists in Fiction
I don't know if you guys have noticed (you probably haven't) but I read a lot. I mean, really, A LOT.
And when you read, there are certain things you kinda notice that writers often use.
You know, like, vampires.
But anyway, I'm not talking about genre I'm talking about plots.
First, what are plots? Well, they have a beginning, middle, end, and a building up part to a climax somewhere between the beginning and the middle, and the middle and end. Well, the end is the climax and the, well, I guess it's kinda like the resolution of sorts.
And anyway, I'm not talking about plots I'm talking about the protagonists in the stories.
Here's a list. Most of them are "general I've seen before" types but some of them are ones I took from the stories I've read. Mostly fantasy, as you may notice.
1. Was a nothing average kid and suddenly has the whole world on his or her shoulders because of some heritage or destiny... The Destiny Child. Wait, Destiny Child sounds familiar...isn't it a celebrity name or something?
2. Nothing average kid wakes up one morning and feels different. Then meets people with strange powers and goes to save the world or something.
3. Magical fantasy land with magical princess or prince going to get married soon but hates it and runs away, hides identity, finds a peasent or country girl or boy falls in love but is forbidden... well, you know, love stories that cross between ranks.
4. The chosen one stories. Oh, wait, I know a good chosen one story. The Pokemon movies. Not the TV series. In the movies, every single one, Ash (Satoshi in Japanese) goes out to save the city, the country, the world, the pokemon species. Good grief. Sometimes I think he should give one of his buddies a chance at the saving the world thing. Don't get me wrong, I like the Pokemon movies. But I think it might be interesting if the protagonist wasn't always the protagonist like in the TV series.
And, in a way, Harry Potter is kind of like the chosen one, isn't he? Not too much, but kinda.
5. Speaking of Harry Potter, those protagonists who naturally have some great power with them the moment they were born.
6. Protagonists that revolt against some authority force and are the leader of that revolutionary group.
7. Protagonists with amnesia.
8. Girl protagonists with a corrupt family and school life who find love with some guy that help them bring their life around.
9. Speaking of love stories, nothing average girls getting asked out by popular boys and the struggles they go through with entering the popular girl world or not.
10. I'm running out of ideas... uhm... Suicidal insane protagonists finding love or finding power they didn't know they had and realizing they weren't insane or end up staying insane or succeed in killing themselves. Sorry for the frankness. And I'm saying sorry to those of you who have lost someone because they took their own life.
There. I don't know, maybe these are cliche but maybe someone of you writers out there can mix-mash them and create something new? *grins* I dare you to try to mix these up good. And show me! However long I don't care. I'd love to see creative creative writers :)

The Santa Claus and North Pole Theory: Part 1
This is something that I've been thinking about for a long time ever since I found out Santa wasn't real.
Let me tell you how it happened for me.
When I was in my second year of junior high, I decided that I was getting too old to write letters to Santa and ask for things. So, I told my mother, well, actually I wrote a letter to Santa telling him I was getting too old for him and then my mother came over and told me that Santa isn't real.
In my third year of junior high, my tutor, about 8, 9 years older than me, that came to my house told me she believed in Santa Claus. She said, "Definitely. He's definitely out there somewhere and I will not stop believing."
So the reasoning I came to of who on earth the jolly old man was, is that he does come around at night on his sleigh visiting households with children. He doesn't leave presents. That's what the parents do. But what he does do is make sure every child is happy and safe and sound and is sleeping tight. The reason I say this is because "Santa" apparently means "Saint". It would make sense for a Saint Claus who loves children and who is kind of a guardian angel for them to visit them on that one special night.
I think if we think of him as a saint, in Christian beliefs and other religions, it would make sense his visits might coincide with Jesus Christ's birthday. I heard there is even specualtion on there being a fourth king that followed the star of Bethlehem but stopped to help a homeless person or something like that... And then I don't know if he died or what but somehow he was dubbed a Saint by the angels of god... He could be the Saint Claus... He could. I mean it does fit.
